      Biography

    Mr. Allan P. Spina is the founding Principal of Information Asset Associates, LLC, an organization that is focused on the advancement of document imaging, document management, workflow, and collaborative applications and architectures. Mr. Spina has been actively engaged since 1983 with experience and expertise in these application areas, as well as various related management consulting and information technologies.

    Mr. Spina has been an AIIM International member since 1988, and has held offices for the Garden State Chapter of AIIM of 1st VP – Programs, two years as President, and has been the Treasurer since 2000.  Allan is an internationally noted speaker and consultant, having been involved in efforts in Europe, South Africa, Asia, as well as throughout North America. Mr. Spina is an early recipient of the Master of Information Technology Certification from AIIM International, receiving this designation in 1999.

    Engagements Mr. Spina has been involved with span Insurance, Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, Health Care, Government, and Construction segments, utilizing various imaging, document management, and workflow software packages.  Mr. Spina has worked with an Administration for Children’s Services in designing and implementing a case imaging application, creating a feasibility study for a Fiscal imaging project, and has image-enabled a legal tracking and court document application.  Prior to this, Allan defined the approach for a policy backfile conversion for a large, New York-based Insurance firm.
